Mary Mullaney (a.k.a Mary Agnes)
Director of Development
After graduating from Bucknell University with degrees in Biology and
English, minors in Film and Philosophy and a poetry fellowship in her
back pocket, this volleyball-playing pre-med was looking down the
barrel at a career in surgery. And that's when life took a u-turn, as
it tends to do. Mary got her start in tv at Scout Productions. She
made great friends, killer cakes and learned a thing or two jillion
about making good television on three seasons of ABC Family's KNOCK
FIRST. Her next few years had Sean Baker Development School written
all over them. After ABC picked up HOW TO GET THE GUY, she bounced
between production and development at shops like Tiger/Tigress
Productions (TRIAL BY CHOIR, TLC), Element Productions (BOSTON
MAGAZINE'S BEST OF BOSTON) and WGBH (FETCH WITH RUFF RUFFMAN, PBS),
before finally landing at Powderhouse in 2006. These days her super
thumbs are hard at work writing pitches and producing tasters. Feeling
like the luckiest girl this side of Charlie Bucket, she wakes up
everyday just happy to be married to the world's greatest guy, working
at monkeyhouse and finally knowing the secret recipe for her
grandmother's meatballs. Now, if she could only get her hands on a
wonkavator...
